Butte County SELPA offers a variety of supports and resources for parents and families with children as identified as having a disability. The main way to keep informed is by participating in our Community Advisory Committee (CAC). The CAC meetings happen four times a year and offer parent trainings, along with updates on new laws and local procedures. We also offer Nurtured Heart Approach (NHA) training, specifically geared toward parents, throughout the year. In additional to the CAC meeting and NHA training, parents are welcome to register to attend our professional development/trainings listed on our calendar. See specific flyers for details.
For any other questions or concerns, contact our SELPA main office at (530) 532-5875 or any of our Program Specialists.
