The North Valley Community Foundation released more grants Monday, Feb 18 to groups that are providing relief to individuals affected by the Camp Fire.
That brings the total to $2,396,990.30 in Camp Fire Relief Fund grants distributed so far.
This is separate from the Butte Strong Fund, and the Butte Schools Fire Relief Fund.
This week’s Camp Fire Relief Fund grants include the following:
Paradise Intermediate School ($25,000): To provide the students with PE trips and recreational activities and events.
Achieve Charter School ($6,225): To cover costs for transportation tickets and other expenses for three trips over the remainder of the school year.
Magalia Community Church ($25,000): To offset utility costs and property insurance at their location where they are providing services to Camp Fire victims.
Magalia Beautification Association ($10,000): To reconstruct the community gardens, planters and the "Welcome to Magalia" sign damaged by the fire.
Throwing Starfish Foundation ($25,000): To provide more direct assistance for Camp Fire families. They have been supplying shelter, food, medical services and transitional housing.
Disaster Relief Strike-Force ($25,000): To continue providing shelter, food, transitional housing and other resources for affected families.
Alalusi Foundation ($5,000): To provide direct assistance to those affected by the Camp Fire.
Sacramento Kindness Campaign ($5,000): To provide direct assistance to those affected by the Camp Fire.
